SOFAZ to Invest $600 Million in Shares of Foreign Companies

In September, the State Oil Fund of Azerbaijan will start to invest in shares of foreign companies, the fund's Executive Director, Shahmar Movsumov, said.

According to Movsumov, the investments will be carried out through foreign investment managers, including USB Global Asset Management and State Street Global Advisors. Movsumov noted that SOFAZ intends to invest $600 million.
