Autumn Exhibition Season Begins in Azerbaijan

The autumn 2012 exhibition season kicks off in Azerbaijan in October, and Iteca Caspian along with its partner ITE Group plc will hold a series of exhibitions - all supported by governmental bodies in Azerbaijan and taking place in the modern Baku Expo Center from October 17-20.

As the largest construction exhibition in the Caspian and the Caucasus, BakuBuild will open the Caspian Construction Week on October 17.

BakuBuild 2012 will present products and services in categories such as: building technologies, sanitary ware, building materials, interiors, ceramic & stone, windows & doors, flooring, construction machinery, garden and lighting, bringing together representative offices of foreign companies engaged in construction, heads of construction companies, construction materials retailers, engineering managers, engineers, architects, designers and site engineers.

With a month still to go until the exhibition opens, over 85% of available exhibition space has been sold. Over 300 companies have confirmed their participation representing 30 countries, with six of these - Germany, Iran, Italy, Finland, Portugal and newcomer Greece - exhibiting from national stands. Turkish firms are once again looking to Azerbaijan's market by booking a large amount of exhibition space, and participation from Chinese firms has considerably increased. Firms from Azerbaijan make up 35% of all exhibitors.

Another event in the Caspian Construction Week is Aqua-Therm Baku 2012, an exhibition dedicated to heating, ventilation, air conditioning, water supply, sanitary ware, environmental technology, swimming pools and renewable energy. Over 60 companies from Azerbaijan, Italy, Russia, and Turkey will exhibit alongside Azerbaijan representations of firms from Belgium, China, Finland, Sweden, Japan, and others.

Also held alongside BakuBuild, the Caspian International Protection, Security and Rescue Exhibition, or CIPS Caspian, will mark its fifth anniversary by showcasing the latest developments in high-tech security, security surveillance, emergency and rescue equipment, occupational safety, and fire safety systems.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan will be exhibiting this year, as will companies from Azerbaijan, Turkey, Italy and Russia.
