World Economic Forum to be Held in Baku in April

Baku will host the World Economic Forum (Davos Forum) on "Strategic dialogue regarding the future of the South Caucasus and Central Asia" on 7-8 April, 2013.

General agreement in this regard was reached on 23 January at a meeting in Davos between President Ilham Aliyev and Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum Klaus Schwab.

Forum on "Strategic dialogue regarding the future of the South Caucasus and Central Asia" will create an excellent opportunity to identify opportunities associated with the future of the region.

The forum will mainly discuss the issues related to such matters as industry, natural resources, transport, infrastructure, agriculture, finance, telecommunications, etc.
