John Kerry: US Working on Resolution of Nagorno-Karabakh Conflict

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry has touched upon the work done as part of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict in his speech at the Munich Security Conference.

"You're not hearing about it. We're working on Nagorno-Karabakh, the Caucasus," US State Department quotes Kerry as saying at the conference.

The 50th Munich Security Conference was held from January 31 to February 2.

The forum was attended by more than 20 heads of state and government as well as over 60 foreign and defense ministers. UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, President of European Council Herman Van Rompuy, NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and US Secretary of State John Kerry also participated at the forum. Fifteen panel discussions and about 250 bilateral meetings were held as part of the forum.

The current session of the Munich conference focused on strengthening security in Euro-Atlantic region, crisis in Ukraine, development of Russia-EU Russia-NATO relations, regulation of cyberspace, the situation around Syria and the Middle East, Iran's nuclear program and impact of financial crisis on global security and stability.
