Azerbaijan’s Non-Oil Sector Sees Rise

The GDP per capita reached $1151.9 in January -February 2014.


61.3 percent of Azerbaijan's GDP counts for production, about 50 percent for industry, 8.8 percent for construction, 2.5 percent for agriculture, forestry and fishing. About 38.7 percent of the gross product was created in the service sector.

9.1 percent of GDP produced in the service sector counts for the trade and repair of vehicles, 6.3 percent for transport and warehousing, 2.5 percent for tourist accommodation and catering, 1.9 percent for information and communication services, 11.9 percent for social and other services.

The non-oil sector grew by 8.8 percent compared to the same period of 2013 and its share in the country's GDP reached 53.9 percent.
